Description
Dried Mullet Roe, also known as “The Caviar of the Mediterranean”, is named after the fish from which it is derived. This is an outstanding and highly prized delicacy, an essential feature of Mediterranean hors d’oeuvres. It is eaten cut into very thin strips, sometimes bathed in a few drops of extra virgin olive oil, or simply grated to lend added flavour to pasta dishes, pizzas or oven-baked fish. We recommend grating the tips of the roe to make “mullet salt”, as the finishing touch to your creations, giving them a distinctive “savour”. A premium 100% natural and artisan product.
